Tariq — Automation Engineer

I build systems that do the repetitive work.

Gmail, Google Sheets, Shopify and WordPress wired together with Apps Script, APIs and AI, so leads, orders and data move on their own and your team stops copy-pasting.

Systems I've built and run in production

Built for a multinational hardware manufacturer with two Shopify stores and four WordPress sites. Client details are kept private; the engineering is shown here.

Gmail inbox analyzer

Hundreds of mixed emails a week, with real inquiries buried under noise.

Reads every incoming email, classifies it as quote request, support, partnership or spam with AI, and routes it to the right person and sheet.

Result: inquiries reach the right owner without anyone triaging the inbox.

Lead intelligence pipeline

Leads arrived with a name and an email, and nothing else.

Captures leads from Gmail into a tracker, enriches each company through Apollo.io, scores intent, and assigns a sales rep automatically based on country and region.

Result: reps open a lead that is already researched and already theirs.

Two-way Shopify ↔ Sheets sync

Product and stock edits done one by one in Shopify admin.

Products, prices and inventory stay in sync in both directions. Includes loop prevention so an update from one side never re-triggers itself, and a trigger architecture that respects API limits.

Result: the catalogue is managed from a spreadsheet.

Shopify Admin APIApps ScriptTime triggers

Multi-sheet master sync

Product datasheets scattered across many separate spreadsheets.

Syncs every source sheet into one master with namespaced keys, and deletes stale rows safely behind a circuit breaker that halts the run if too many rows would be removed at once.

Result: one source of truth that can't silently wipe itself.

Apps ScriptSheetsFail-safe design

Google Sheets analyzer

Large sheets full of duplicates, gaps and inconsistent entries.

Scans a workbook for duplicate records, missing fields and formatting errors, then generates a clean summary tab and a list of rows that need a human decision.

Result: audits that took an afternoon run in minutes.

Apps ScriptSheets

Catalogue URL migration

About 5,800 datasheet links to move across three product catalogues.

Cross-referenced every row against the new structure, removed duplicates, and isolated unmatched rows for review instead of guessing.

Result: a bulk migration done without broken links slipping through.

Apps ScriptSheetsData matching

Also built: a custom CRM on Google Sheets, a five-stage B2B outreach pipeline for Gulf markets, a partner registration system with region auto-assignment on WordPress, and a branded business-card generator connected to Make.com webhooks.

Flagship product

Warden: WordPress operations, run by AI

Warden performs full admin work on production WordPress sites through the API, without anyone logging into wp-admin. It is already running on live sites.

  • Content, page and plugin changes executed on request
  • Routine maintenance handled without dashboard sessions
  • Every action logged, so you can see exactly what changed
› warden task "Update pricing table on /products and clear cache"
✓ located page /products (id 412)
✓ updated block: pricing-table (3 rows changed)
✓ revision saved · rollback available
✓ cache purged
› done in 6.2s · no wp-admin login

How a project runs

Map the process

A 30-minute call to walk through the manual work and where it breaks.

Fixed proposal

What gets automated, what stays manual, one price, one timeline.

Build and test

Built against your real data, with error handling and alerts when something fails.

Handover

Documentation, a walkthrough video, and 14 days of fixes included.

Typical builds run $300–$800, fixed price. Larger systems and ongoing automation support are quoted after the first call.

About me

I've spent over eight years running business websites, and the last few years automating the work around them. My background covers web development, IT operations and design, so I build systems that are both reliable and usable by the people who have to live with them.

Today I run the automation and web stack for a multinational: two Shopify stores, four WordPress sites, the CRM and the sales pipelines that feed it.

I'm based in Pakistan and work remotely with clients in the US, UK, Gulf and Australia.
